Ignite is a Youth Group and Café based in the parish of Ss Albans and Stephen. We normally meet every other Sunday. All the dates are in the sasyouth CALENDAR. It’s open to all 15ish to 19ish people. Under 18's will need to have parental consent to attend click here for the form. It’s a place to meet, to chat, to play games and to just chill. Drinks are free but we’d ask for 50p for snacks. The IGNITE Youth Group is reigniting and meeting after 7pm Mass on Sunday 28 February 2010 for a viewing of the DVD 'How Great is Our God' - it is an amazing journey looking at the miracle of the creation of space and how that impacts upon us individuals. Last Christmas a lecturer from CERN spoke on a similar subject from a secular viewpoint, this DVD gives us a Christian perspective to some of those questions about our Creator and whether He cares about us as we are taught in the Holy Bible. Can it really be true that He was big enough to breathe out stars, yet intricate enough to fashion together the trillions of cells that make up every facet of who we are? The DVD will provide us with an explanation of how the cross of Jesus Christ will preserve and restore us no matter what the circumstances. How do we survive struggles and make to the other side? This DVD proposes an answer. Sometimes we need reminding just How Great is Our God. He is amazing, so come along and be amazed at what he is doing. You will not want to miss this. Refreshments will be provided - through the kindness of Aaron and Tom. You can bring along anyone who might be interested watching this mind blowing DVD with us. They must be over confirmation age.
